RMSN(Member-organizations and the Coordination Office) are set to commemorate Tree Planting Day of April 17th 2007, which is an important Environmental Day of RMSN Annual Calender, with series of activities such as Tree Planting at various sites, distribution of Tree Seedlings to the public, Rallies and Community meetings, Speeches by leading Public and NGOs dignitaries to raise awareness on the importance of Tree Planting, Special Environmental Radio/Tv programs on Tree Planting,Inter schools Quizs and debates on Environment.

04-06-2006. As a tradition, Resorce Management Somali Network(RMSN), each year on 5th of June, conducts an organized series of activities to commemorate the World Environment Day.
.
Through awareness campaign by both RMSN Coordination Office and RMSN member-organizations , thousands of people learn and are sensitized about their environment .
The activities usually planed for the Day , includes Tree planting, rallies, clean -up exercise, Radio and TV programe production, Drama/role play, poetry/poem recitation, workshops,distributions of environmental newsletter and leaflets, and inter-school quizes.
